The Barrow Hill Veterinary Hospital is housed in a purpose built, air conditioned, building, with ample free car parking. The hospital is headed by Mark Hurst, one of the Directors, with a large team of vets who are all experienced general practitioners.
In addition, each member of the team has their own area of special interest, including all aspects of internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The nursing team consists of Qualified Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and nurses undergoing training within the practice.
We consider that continual twenty-four hour, on site care is an essential part of our commitment to the welfare of your pets. This is why our nurses are present, in the hospital, to monitor and treat our patients throughout the night.
Our Vets are on call throughout the night, meaning our patients are cared for by our staff; we won't send you elsewhere when you need us most. The hospital has been independently inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and been accredited to its highest standard, of a tier 3 hospital. We are also an accredited training practice for veterinary nurses.
